Muztagh lies on the baltoro cathedral at the snout of baltoro and young husband glacier, having 2 summits of 7273 and 7180m, on the traditional route of K-2 and other 8000 peaks, 

The surrounded glaciers are young husband Braldu- Kero- Uhli Baltoro-Biromo logo. The peaks are Lupsand tower, Uhli tower, Trango towers, Nameless tower and Paiyu peaks. The opposite mountains are Masherbrum Birarchidi-Choglisa-Baltoro –Kangri –Sia Kangri –Saltoro Kangri, G-I, II, IV, and V.

Approach: Skardu-Shigar-Askoli –Johla-Paiyu –Khuberze-Urdukas –Goro –Young husband glacier base camp.

It was in 1903 that AC. Feber and Honig mann reached the Muztagh Pass from Baltoro glacier to explore the area in detail against the Russian and China invasion, became of the Chinese and Russian caravan tried to get over the Muztagh pass at 5422m to built a new caravan route from the North of China to the Indian sub continent, but it does not existed longer because of the high difficult pass to transfer goods from one side to the other.

The British army new this and started surveying of the Karakorum in 1887 beyond his political reason, it was difficult job to scale the area, after a long time the surveyor did a good job to realize the altitude of peaks and passes in Karakorum and other mountain ranges.

It was in 1947 that the British India was divided in two states-Pakistan and India RCF- Schaumburg and his party reached Muztagh tower from east face on 7^th July 1947.

The other expedition Anglo American Korean reached on the summit in August 1984. This magnificent rock tower peak offers a picture sec view from Baltoro glacier on the way up to Concordia. The first look before Paiyu to these towers or Baltoro Cathedrals are an extra charming for photographers, movie makers and normal trekkers.
