The huge mountain is not a single peak, but a series of ridges culminating in an ice crest 8126m high ranked ninth highest in  the world and second highest in Pakistan. After K-2, The name Nanga Parbat is Kashmiri for  (Naked Mountains) in Shina by  the local from the region Diamiri, while means King of Mountains, Nanga Parbat give the nick Name Killer Mountains, 20 climbers, and 23 Sherpas have last their lives.
The first German climber Herman –Buhle got on the Summit in 1953. After a long offer from Riakot face of Nanga Parbat situated in the last end of Himalaya on the Kohistan Region of Astore Valley.
Visit Hunza:
Hunza situated in the North of Pakistan 113 km from Gilgit and 167 from Chilas.Hunza has mentioned by the English authors in his book Shangri-La in the last horizon of the Arabian sea, Hunza in an alleviation of 2465 m were  ruled by Karimabad or Baltit the Capital of Hunza. The Mirs rulers about 960 years. They inhabitants are originated from the neighboring countries of Afghanistan China and Central Asia or the Neighboring of Indus Kohistan  -Yaseen Ishkomen via Wakhan Corridor. Hunza Valley inhabited 45000 with three ethnic group of Shina Speaking in the South Brushashki in the Middle and Wakhi Speaking in the North Spread over the Chinese border. They are famous for hospitality, very friendly and peaceful. The Hunza people are Ismailies (the followers of Prince Karim Aga Khan) they are very much liberal in faith. Their basic orthodox are humanity, peace, helpful to mankind, progressive. Hunza is surrounded by High Mountain Rakaposhi 7788m,. Shispar 7619m, Passu Peak 7358m and many many.
